Omschrijving

Our company is a global player, a leader in their kind. They are currently looking for a highly motivated professional to add to their dynamic and international Audit deptartment (US/NL).
In this position you will will report to the VP Audit. The team is expanding and they are looking at taking more ambitious financials on board. This role offers the management for this growing department.
Your focus:
• Manage and review the execution of various financial, operational, and compliance audits, projects, and activities;
• Manage the team and provide a thorough review of each in-scope audit area to ensure quality standards are met;
• Provide direction to the team to ensure appropriate and timely reporting of audit results;
• Act as the main liaison with the SOX team in scoping and execution of SOX activities for the organization;
• Assist in the annual planning efforts to assess organizational risk and develop an Internal Audit plan to address key risks.
• Bachelor''s degree in Accounting or Finance;
• Experience in internal control frameworks and testing methods;
• Ability to apply good judgment and problem solving skills identify critical risks;
• 10+ years relevant experience (preferably in the Big4);
• Experience with accounting and auditing theories and principles;
• Experience in supervising the work of others;
• Must be able to travel ranging from 20-50%;
• Perfect command of the English language.
