Business Controller

The Health & Beauty finance team in ‘s-Hertogenbosch is looking for an enthusiastic, hands-on business controller with experience in an (international) control environment. You will be responsible for providing management information and will be a key player in the planning & control cycle. You will initiate change processes to further professionalise the finance organisation and act as a sparring partner for the business. The Health & Beauty business control team consists of 6 finance professionals.

Tasks & responsibilities Business Controller
Develop, maintain and professionalise the management information system and business reporting in a continuously changing environment.
Support the planning & control cycle (strategic planning, budgeting, monthly performance analysis and reporting).
Participate in various strategic or operational projects, set up business cases and investment proposals and own this process from kick-off to approval.
Develop, maintain and professionalise the internal control framework.
Periodic and ad-hoc reporting of actual results versus budgets and forecasts in the area of profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow.
Analyse and interpret the impact and risks & opportunities of new business models, new services or health insurer and governmental regulations.
Initiate change processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness within the finance department or business.
Act as a business partner and add value to the business.

Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic, hands-on business controller with a Master or Bachelors Degree Business Economics or Accounting (HBO+ / WO) possibly supplemented with a postdoctoral Executive Master in Finance and Control (RC). A minimum of five years experience in an (international) business control environment and a good command of the English language is required.
